BFD or FSJ (m/f/d) with us in our daycare!
Do you want to do something meaningful after school, are you looking for guidance for your future, or do you simply have a huge heart for children? Then come join us – we are currently seeking support through a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) or the Federal Volunteer Service (BFD)!
We are a warm, family-oriented parent initiative in the heart of the Helmholtz neighborhood (Prenzlauer Berg). We currently support 19 curious children (ages 1-6) with humor, creativity, and love as they navigate their daily lives. From mid-February, we will be moving to new, freshly renovated premises on Ahlbecker Straße!
Here's what you can expect from us:

Right in the thick of things instead of just being there: You support our educational team in everyday kindergarten life (playing, crafting, trips to the playground, eating together).

Space for you: You can try things out and contribute your own small projects or ideas – whether music, sports or just messing around.

Learning with heart: You will gain insights into educational concepts (situational approach & Montessori) and become part of a team that supports each other.
You bring the following:

Enjoyment of working with children and an open, warm personality.

Reliability and a willingness to take on responsibility within the team.

You are prepared to commit for one year (or as agreed).

A current extended certificate of good conduct (Erweitertes Führungszeugnis)
