OUR STORY

We provide learning stimuli and play incentives tailored to the children's needs, interests, and abilities.

Kinderladen Kindertraum was founded in 2009 by an educator and a group of dedicated parents looking for childcare options in Prenzlauer Berg. After extensive renovations, we opened our doors in September 2009.

Our daycare features a mixed-age group structure, typically comprising about 20 children aged 1-6 years, ideally with 3-4 children in each age bracket. While most daily activities are enjoyed together, we also offer age-appropriate programs where the group is split, such as music, creative arts, forest excursions, and cultural outings.

Field Trips

Our daycare is conveniently located near Helmholtzplatz. We regularly visit several nearby playgrounds or take walks around the neighborhood. We also organize field trips to the forest, theater, and fire station.

Food and Nutrution

Our meals are provided daily by a catering service. Apart from lunch, breakfast is available in the morning, freshly prepared on-site and we offer a small snack in the afternoon. We prioritize providing our children with a wholesome, regional, and organic diet.

Parents' Participation

At our daycare center, parents join hands with passionate and caring educators, making children's journey a whole lot more special. Each parent is assigned a specific role, ensuring shared responsibility for the overall operation of the daycare.
